Recessed Filters are double/triple filters with a cavity in the mouth end segment that combines the unique look of the cigarette with the advantages of double filters, i.e., the possibility to add additives.

These filters are made by using a more rigid plug wrap paper and the cavity allows to obtain a particular perception of smoke. Furthermore, acetate tow does not come in direct contact with the mouth.
